KIDZ Kastle

About Us

OUR HOME

We work hard on & off daycare hours to provide your family with the best place to be at when you cannot be at home with your children.

OUR MISSION

Kidz Kastle’s mission is to provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years old. Our goal is to provide an encouraging educational experience promoting social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. Our play-based programs emphasize educating the child as a whole. Kidz Kastle is a home environment where children can develop at their own pace. We are committed to the families we serve by building family partnerships, providing community resources, support and encouragement. We strive to give our families peace of mind.

OUR VISION

Our vision for the present is for parents to feel good about their choice to be a part of Kidz Kastle daycare and that the children are safe, engaged, educated and smiling. Our vision for the future is to have our children look back warmly at their experience with us and see it as a cherished part of their childhood.

Curriculum

Our curriculum is based off the Teaching Strategies Curriculum, which supports each child individually. We work on building up the child’s weak areas, if any, & support their strengths.

A child assessment is done twice a year to ensure the child is meeting their goals & milestones.

UPK Colorado Program

Kidz Kastle is now participating in the UPK Colorado Program. For more information on free preschool go to the link HERE.

Meals

Kidz Kastle is on the Wildwood CACFP Food Program. The intent of the program is to ensure that children in childcare settings receive good nutrition and develop healthy eating skills & habits.

Field representatives visit the childcare home every quarter to support & mentor each childcare provider while offering education & materials through out the year.

Kidz Kastle provides breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack to each child during regular business hours. Each child has a designated cup as well.

Extracurricular Activities

Spring/Summer activities include our annual Easter egg hunt, the butterfly pavilion and preparing & planting our garden. We participate in the Pueblo Library District Youth Reading program, Lake Pueblo Reservoir Little Ranger program, swimming lessons and the Tinseltown Summer Movie Clubhouse program. Kidz Kastle also has an annual membership to the Pueblo Zoo and Buells Children’s Museum.

Fall/Winter activities include the Halloween trick-or-treat hayride, Trick-or-treating to our community nursing home and Christmas caroling to our grandparents’ home. During the winter months Gymnastics classes are an option for an additional fee that is paid directly to the gym. February is our annual Parents Night Out Valentine sleepover.
